This J-Pole works great as a VHF/UHF land mobile and public safety scanner antenna. With a low noise floor and omnidirectional patter, you'll hear more stations for less money with the J-Pole antenna. Receive analog or digital, both wide and narrow band signals.
Great for base stations, this antenna can be mounted on a mast, tower or even strapped to an apartment balcony. Terrific antenna for digital; use it  on your packet, dx cluster or APRS station. SWR is 1.4:1 or less throughout the entire 2 meter band.
This particular antenna can also be custom tuned

I have it up about 20 feet in the air and am able to hit repeaters, and receive (with my Yaesu FT2800M) on ten watts, 45 miles away! It is quality built. It showed 1.4 SWR on 147.030.
