This 3 piece outfit is sewn for an adult doll collector. It may have s
mall parts that are not safe for children ie snaps, flowers etc.
The dress is in the style of a short sleeved dress. The dress skirt has designs of giraffes & monkeys playing & enjoying themselves. Such adorable friends!. The sleeve cuffs, collar & hem band are a shaded goldish fabric. I used a brown & pink checkerboard trim around the skirt. I made a bow and stitched it to the center of the dress at the bodice/waistline.
The back of the dress has 3 snaps for closure which makes for an easier on/off dressing of your doll.
The bloomers are made of white fabric and edged with the same goldish. It has elastic at the waist and knees.
I then used the goldish fabric, formed a flower, placed it in the center of a silk daisy and added the checkerboard trim for a tie.
I use a serger machine & regular stitch machine to sew the seams.
