EAH !!!  Wow .....  Talk about an awesome, eye-catching & completely Incredible ! N.Y.C. ( MSG ! ) Grateful Dead Shirt ... so what's that Good Ol' saying ?  " They just don't make them like ' This ! ' anymore " !!!  This is an incredible piece of T-Shirt Art here, and it is a Vintage-Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Official Tour Shirt made for the Grateful Dead's 1991 Fall Tour stop at Madison Square Garden in New York City !  This is a Tony Reonegro design ('91) made specifically for this historic 9-Night run at MSG - a wonderful & very-rare ' Venue-Specific ' G.D. Shirt!  This Shirt just about says all it has to itself, but - I shall give it a good try here, and will let the photos provided do the rest .....  Against the background of a map of New York, a tie-dye wearing skeleton King Kong ! is climbing up the Empire State Building ! in an effort to capture a ' Skeleton '  Ann Darrow perched up on a ledge.  King Kong's " Steal Your Face ! " gold medallion is swinging in the wind as he tries to grasp the " Lightning Bolt " designed bi-planes ( piloted by Dancin' Skeletons ! ) that are circling him.  And below - you can see jam-packed ( Sold Out ! ) Madison Square Garden in all of its Glory ! with the dates of the shows from this 1991 Fall Tour right on the front of the Arena.  " Grateful Dead " is painted in a graffiti style banner being trailed by one the bi-planes, flown by a scarf-wearing skeleton, waving to all the Deadhead's in MSG !!  This Shirt would have been super handy back in the day ( pre-cell phone era ) if you were from out of town and didn't know your way around New York, as you could simply check out the very detailed ' map ' on both sides of your Shirt !  Ahhh ... the pre-cell phone days -- and ahhhh !! to the days when Grate ! G.D. Tour Shirts were made ... and especially like this one !!  Also, this shirt was only made on white shirts & red shirts ... & this beauty here is the bright & glowing Red !! version, which to my eye - was kind of " the " one to have - due to that extra-bright factor ... and let's face it, with a " Reonegro-Original " like this one on a Dead Shirt ??!  It deserves it !  Enjoy this one my fellow Dead Friends ... and Prepare for the " Grate ! - Shirt !!! " Compliments !!  What a G.D. N.Y.C. Tee !!! ... for M.S.G. !!!!  Gotta-love this one . . .
