Description
February 4, 1927 copy of "The Postal Bulletin," a daily publication of the U.S. Postal Service. This 2-page newspaper was Volume XLVII, No. 14300. Its stated purpose was "by the direction of the Postmaster General, for the information and guidance of officers and employees of the Postal Service." This particular issue touched on fascinating topics such as parcel post service to Brunei, Labuan, Malay States, North Borneo, and Sarawak, as well as mails to Grenada and St. Vincent in the British West Indies. The bulletin also provides updates on sponges in the mails to Mexico, as well as problems with recent money order forms. There is also a recording of post office commissions, other post office changes, and routes. Particularly for its age, this bulletin is in very nice, clean condition, with just three folds and a slight tear along one of those folds. It is a Very Fine piece ready to enhance any collection of U.S. postal history.
Another Extremely Fine Piece of Postal History!
