    Description

    This is a nice, original letter from brother
    Jasper N Barritt writing home to family in Milford, Iroquois County, Illinois.
    He writes on the state of the front along the Mississippi and Vicksburg. It is also signed by William M Barritt Esq so they may have been serving together there. Original envelope with stamp present.
    Item measures 5" x 8" and contains four pages.
    There is minimal surface, corner and edge wear. Normal wear for an item of the period.
